Vintage Air condenser for AD
Anyone have a picture of a Vintage Air condenser mounted in an AD? I'm trying to figure out if the one that comes in the SureFit kit will fit my modified radiator support in my s10 swapped AD. Thanks!

I had to rebend the upper mount brackets to accomodate for moving the radiator forward for the '59 235. |

Not sure what size condensor your 'sure fit' has, but I think the bigger, the better when dealing with R-134 freon. Here's how I mounted mine. This method allows radiator removal without disturbing the condensor.

Re: Vintage Air condenser for AD
I have a vintage air set up but I bought my condenser off of Ebay.
I just build little brackets simular to Kids approach. I mounted the dryer on the passenger side frame rail up front. I still need to finish running that hose before I can get my system charged. Marc

Re: Vintage Air condenser for AD
Are there any performance issues with the stock compressor? I was under the impression that the V/A system would under-perform when using a stock compressor, but I'm not sure how reliable my source was for that.

Re: Vintage Air condenser for AD
my compressor came out of a 2004 pickup. It has worked great since 2007. I don't think the trucks used a V/A type compressor.
