Does anyone have a pic of the tilt option on a 1970 spid?
Does anyone have a pic of the tilt option on a 1970 spid? I have been told it was an option in 1970 but have never seen it factory installed in 1 1970 or on a 1970 spid.

Sorry I don't have a picture, but I did purchase a factory tilt out of a 70 CST here localy once. I do remember reading the glove box option sheet though and it was listed on it. WES

To my recollection they introduced it as an option about 1/2 way through the year in 1970, so it was available.
I'm pretty sure it would have been listed and read as 'N33 COMFORTILT STEER WHL'. Good Luck Coley

Here you go. I still have the glove box door but sold the tilt a long time ago.
Just as a side note, the flasher button was Chrome and not black or red like most.

The 1970 owners manual has tilt wheel operating instructions. The CST/30 Custom Camper 157"er I owned had a tit column.

Somewhere I have a magazine add that shows it on a '70. I'll try to find it and post a pic.
