c10/c20 control arms and vin help

I still havent been able to decode the VIN on my 67 gmc and need to start ordering some suspension parts. Are the c10/c20 control arms the same? Plus if anyone can help out on decoding my truck so I know exactly what I'm working with I'd appreciate it. I think I've checked the majority of the vin decoders i've googled with no luck.

Re: c10/c20 control arms and vin help

Did you try the decoder in the LMC catalog. PM the VIN to me and I'll try and help. I have a few books at home.

Re: c10/c20 control arms and vin help

C20 lower control arms are different than the C10 lowers.
(they have a bigger ball joint hole)
The uppers arms (themselves), are the same.
Of course,... the balljoints and spindles are different.

Jers, Try this one. I couldn't find a good vin decoder for the 1967 GMC so I made my own.

Jers, A light bulb just went off. What you got there is the last part of your VIN. Your missing the front part.

P=pontiac
C=1967
1065= build number/sequence number
B=GVW 6001 to 10,000
