Tranny problems

My tranny started shifting into 3rd way too soon and to slows way down ... then I push on the gas and it shifts into 2nd. it seems that when my peddle goes to certain positions it shifts. Is my tranny going out? Has anyone else had this problem? I pulled my pan.. the fluid looked good...changed filter and fluid ...no change......WTF!!! Oh yea it is a turbo 350

A TH350 does not have a TV cable. A 700r4 does.

Old rusty C10 has the right idea but you need to see if your modulator is adjustable. At the tranny passenger rear take the tube off and look inside to look for a screw. If the screw is there turn clockwise to have a higher shift point or counter clockwise to have a lower shift point. A small turn goes a long way.
