Where did you mount the air intakes for your ram air system? Did you cut holes into the radiator support?

Mitch,

I already had the hole on the passenger side. The hole on the drivers side had a knock out in the hole I had to remove.

Cool, but make sure the duct will fit a 5" hole first. My Ram Air used 4" duct. Wouldn't be good to cut a 5" hole and it not fit.

You are right, good thing there is a 4" one in the hole saw kit.

What is the part number for the NGK spark plugs that you use? Do they come pregapped?

Gerardo,

my plugs are BKR5E's. But, these fit my Edelbrock heads, which use washers, not tappered seats like stock heads.

If you need to cross reference NGK plugs, here's a good place to do it.

Looks like they make a nice oxygen sensor too. I'll be ordering that for my Dakota along with the spark plugs.

You should see the looks I get when I ask for my NGK plugs. I tell them the part number and they look out at the truck then shake thier head. I just laugh and tell them it's the aluminum heads on the engine

I dont have a dual snorkle air intake yet, but I punched out the hole when I had the grille out. I just hit it with a hammer from the grille side. It just fell right out. If yours is not the same, then a hole saw should work, just be careful about the placement of the hole. If you do have the factory block off plate there, then you could use the plastic GM peices and cut the air block plate off and pop them in and out, as shown here (passenger side shown):
