Question Are repro headliner moldings & rear view mirrors any good?

At $89.99, I thought I better ask first as we all know the quality on some of these parts.

Would be buying from Classic parts. Don't know the brand.

How about the repro rear view mirror heads?

Thanks,

Bob

Re: Are repro headliner moldings & rear view mirrors any good?

In 12 years we've had 1 bad chrome headliner trim where there was a bubble in the chrome, we did have one other person intially complain about the tabs breaking when installing this trim but after correspondence discovered he tried installing in sub-zero temps which causes plastic to be VERY brittle so install in a heated garage if its winter time, interior mirror heads we've never heard of any problems with these.

I've got the repop headliner trim, cheap fake chrome plastic....just like the original.
Priced way too high but what are ya gonna do. A shame someone doesn't repop us some metal ones.

The repro headliner trim I bought from Classic Parts looked and fit just like GM, you'd have a hard time telling them apart.

Hey Bob. How many pieces do you need?

I have 3 pieces i will send you FREE if you pay shipping cost.

All the tabs are good.

You would need to wetsand them, and get a can of chrome paint.

But it would be cheaper than buying all new trim.

Send me a Private message if your interested.

Thank you fine69, it's very nice of you to offer. I have my mind set on some shiny new ones however. Looks like you have a taker on them just above this post though.

Thanks to all who replied.
