Front Clip

What is the easiest way to remove front clip if you are by yourself? It looks like with 2 or more people its like 12-14 bolts and done. With the holidays around alot of peeps i know are out of town. Id like to not have to fully disassemble if I dont have to.

you can get it off by yourself: take the hood off.
take the 4 bolts each side (rear) off.
remove the steering shaft cover , and unplug the wiring harness.
pull the radiator out (you can leave it in since it is attached to the frame at the bottom, but if possible, pull it because it will just be in the way).
pull the front bumper off (this again is another that you don't really need to do, but it is much easier with it out of the way)
pull the two radiator support bolts. ( if they are original the washers are probably rusted to the bolt, some times I have needed a floor jack and a hammer to break the washer loose- it helps if the bolts can be pulled, because they do get in the way)

now that all that is off, you should be able to pull it forward on the frame rail, once you get it to the end you tip it up like a tilt frontend, and wiggle it off of the frame rail, I had a makeshift wheeled cart that was about 4 inches high that I set it on so that I could wheel it away from the truck.

to re assemble I had to get some help to put it back on , and reinstall the hood- those two are just about impossible to do with out hurting your back , or scratching up the paint, or both I have decided .
