need advice quick...
Hi guys...need your expert advice quickly as I have a chance to buy a suburban today for 500 bux....
Question is..I have a 68 c/10 with stock 292 6 cyl...and 4 speed... this suburban has 350/350 in it....will it bolt right in? Will all the parts from 73 suburban allow me to swap engine into mine? it also has disc brake front end...will this fit on my 6 lug drum brake front end? thx ...for any help |

If the engine and transmission are in good shape, buy it and then worry about getting the required parts.
Some things that come to mind along with rear crossmember, is automatic transmission linkage, radiator for automatic transmission, engine mount towers for V8, the automatic steering column. different motor mounts.. pretty easy swap.. send me that 6... it is worth about as much as you're paying.. if you were on the east coast, i could help with the swap..
