Upper Ball Joint Question

Hey all, I am doing my disc brake conversion as I am typing and I am having difficulty with the upper ball joints. I pressed the lowers in but the uppers seemed to be to wide at the throat where the rubber bot meets the assembly. The holes line up but there is a large gap between the A arm and the ball joint face. What gives, I check the part number and it is the proper 73-87 ball joint for my conversion? Any help is always greatly appreciated.

This is a pic last year. Not for sure if it will help you...
Not for sure where the problem is. the ball joint and the a-arm or the ball joint to the spindle

Re: Upper Ball Joint Question

Solved the problem, the bonehead behind the counter at the AP store gave me the wrong ones wrapped in the correct box. I returned and went to Winchester Auto by my house and talked to people who knew what they were doing.
