You will not believe!!!!!!!!!!

What i found at the pick-n-pull. The rare of rare in upholstery
its a bit beat up and has some tears but for $6 bucks, couldnt pass on it. Wait for it......................

Nice score! I had a gold 66 with the orange/white seat like that and a blue 64 with the same seat but gold/white. Joseph

I've never actually seen a red seat before (besides photos) in all the years of looking. They indeed are RARE!. Also, never even heard of the factory offering other colors besides red as an option to the standard fawn. I'm guessing the aforementioned blue and gold trimmed seats must have been re-do's.

so oem i have that red seat in my 64 but i want to change the outside color to blue or teal what should i do about the seat keep it read or change to match truck exterior color..

Depends upon the condition of the seat, I guess. It would be a real shame to alter a scarce original red seat that was in great shape, just to match an exterior color change. Seems that if you are going to re-do the upholstery anyway, why mess up the rare one when any old seat would work, you know? You could probably trade plus get some cash from another member here that wants a red seat. I dunno.

Was this option specific to a year or was was it available to all years. I noticed there is a difference in the picture that aerotruk put up.
Any idea on what cleaner to use? Its really gunked up.
Ill add more detailed pictures once its clean(er)

this was at the one in Newark off of Mowry. im always keeping an eye out on their website's inventory list. sometimes there are trucks in the yard but are not listed the inventory list and when i go see the truck, its been picked to the bone.

Unfortunately the bottom of my seat is tore up but the top is right nice . I know it's a rather comfortable seat forsure
