Got ideal Cheyenne for my swb build

Got ideal Cheyenne for my swb build today. One my favorite color combos (ochre and white), AC , tilt, and lots of other options. Needs rockers and cab corners but that's about it. Got rebuilt swb chassis and bed ready for paint to put this truck on.

Saved the Sierra Grande from modification, went to a good new home.

That'll make a sweet shortbed. I'm glad that beautiful Longhorn was spared. I'm a little worried the new owner has the same plan, though. Hopefully I'm wrong and he has enough sense to eave it as the wonderful truck it is in it's own right.

Looks like a nice start. Theres lots of options on the spid, but i don't see where the Cheyenne option is one of them? Someone could have added the cheyenne fender emblems possibly. Good looking color combo, best of luck with it! Joseph

In 1971 a cheyenne was listed as a custom sport truck on the SPID

was that true in 72 as well (i.e. Cheyenne (not super) listed as CST or was it finally listed as "Cheyenne" in 72?

Thanks for posting, I was always wondering about this!

Nice truck by the way - I'm looking forward to the build!

I've never seen a 1972 cheyenne listed as a cst but I am not positive. some 1971's were listed as cheyenne's but the vast majority of 71's were listed as CST.
