Well my left window was getting caught on something, I thought it was the rollers so took the glass and regulator out, it was the teeth on the motor got all tore up. Stuck a new motor in and its all good now.

Chased a electrical issue caused by a previous owners stereo/deck install which caused the t/s relay to go bad, so I upgraded that to a electronic one... it works awesome! Now I need to figure out why my flashers aren't working.

Re: WHat did you get done New Years day edition 2012

Finally started tearing into my project. Pulled the bed off, rear end is out, and the leafs are off. Ordered a new 12-bolt diff cover from DTS and the rear is wire brushed and ready for paint. Ordering Tuff Country 3" leafs tomorrow. In the meantime just sanding and wire brushing the frame to coat with POR-15 and scraping off 25+ years of tar and undercoat from the bottomside of the bed floor in prep for POR-15.

I took the front bumper off my 81 shortbox, welded some floor panels on my 82 K5 Blazer and laid out the plans for the stereo system for the shortbox.

Re: WHat did you get done New Years day edition 2012

Got the rest of the Tuned Port Injection set up installed along with the Mega Squirt II ecu. Played around with it for as little bit and got it where it ran good enough to get around town.

Got the Tach back from Wilcox Corvettes which rebuilt my tach since it didn't work. Great job by them as they had it back to me in a week.

Put the dash back together with the gauge cover painted white on the back. Improved the gauge lights big time.

Re-Installed the seat belts.

Re: WHat did you get done New Years day edition 2012

Quite a bit thanks to my brothers help.

Headers are on, exhaust temporarily hooked up. Replaced intake manifold gaskets. The guy who did a frame off on my truck in 94 or 95 for some reason known to him only painted the brake booster a gold color. So I painted it black. Big improvement. Modified a dash panel for my peterbilt, and I think that's really about it.

Re: WHat did you get done New Years day edition 2012

Got rolling chassie out of the garage and cab on dolley rolled into the garage.Time to get cab prepared for paint. I can't have cab on frame in the garage I would never get it out the door. Not even on just steel rims. I want a bigger garage. But I think all men do.

Re: WHat did you get done New Years day edition 2012

Extending the garden shed so I can put more truck parts in it! =P

I actually have the original wall back on it now, but I need to shorten the top plate on it so I can tie into the walls I built for more strength. Then I'll do the siding, build 1 more truss, and install the plywood roof, tar paper it, install shingles and drip edge, then paint time!

I also realized that I toe nailed my first truss into the top of the framing on one side, instead of the top plate (which I have yet to install). I used thicker plywood on my floor since I plan on putting some heavier items on it, so the top plates don't quite line up (should've thought of that when I framed the wall, but too late now). I spaced the truss up so the plywood follows the roof line correctly. I'll install the top plate tomorrow.
