It's been a while, but made some progress on my '86!

Well between a new job, getting married, honeymoon, etc... I've been busy! But, it was finally time to work on my '86 again. I've been driving the truck a little, as I have a work truck (F*rd F550 ) and the drivetrain is solid so far even with the junkyard 350 and the '74 Oldsmobile carb. I've sill got a nagging idle issue with the carb, I'm suspecting an intake leak, but don't wanna pull it yet.. Also the 700R4 isn't locking up... Still chasing that one. Anyways.... To the point... The truck had a bent up front bumper, mangled filler panel, and this god awful JC Whitney square tube grille that I had no choice but to zip-tie in place.. Looked really bad.. Well for the first time in months I went to the local u-pull it, and as usual was looking for a good grille, bumper, etc... And my wife came along! Well after getting through 80% of the GM section, I saw a '89 'burban, looked pretty clean. I looked it over, good useable stuff, nothing I needed. Didn't even look at the grille because it was an '89, and I don't like the newer grille setups. I was looking under the hood, because someone had dropped a late model Vortec 350 in it, and didn't wire it up. Anyways, I noticed the thing had an almost perfect pre-88 grille, bumper, bezels, filler panel,etc... !!!! So I snagged it all! All that stuff, 2 good tail light lenses, and a Mercury cougar electric fan (The Best electric fan money can buy) all for... Drumroll.... $107!!!! This is a before pic, after I removed the tube grille.
Here Is after! Btw I hadn't installed the new air dam yet either..
