Rear Bumper and Rear Bumper supports interchangeable??

Was at the U Pull it today and noticed an 83 Blazer that had a a sport bumper on it. I do not have the Bumper Supports or Bumper on my 85 SWB Truck. Does anyone know if the supports and bumper will bolt up right up?

Yes, the outers brackets are the same and it will hold the bumper on your truck but the inners wont reach your frame but they will hold the bolts on the bumper. My neighbors truck is like that and it works fine.

I think the inner bolts on the Blazer bolt directly thru the frame.

Suburbans use a separate inner bracket like the truck but not interchangeable

As noted the outer brackets are the same for truck/sub/blazer

The splash pans are also unique to the truck but are very reasonably priced in the aftermarket

Thanks for the info. I am planning on getting the Bumper and Outer Brackets from the Blazer and the Inner Brackets from a Suburban. I can fab the inners to work.
