5.3 Engine swap
Where do I find out how to install a 5.3 with automatic transmission from a 1999 1500 Silverado into my 1969 Chevy C-20. The 69 presently has a 307 4-speed all stock. Thanks for any help.

Look at the Lsx Swap thread, there is a FAQ there that will help you.
There really isnt much difference in swapping SBC's or LSX's except the motor mounts and the manifolds until you get to the wiring ( not a big deal either) You will need to shorten your drive shaft and do an electronic fuel pump. Also the trans will have a VSS for a electronic speedo, you can get a convertor for that tho.
