Re: V8 radiator support ??
not sure on the 55-57 trucks, but on the 58-59 trucks the radiator stays in the same place for a 6 and v8.
the v8 has a fan spacer and a long fan shroud, the fan is ~4'' away from the radiator. the v8 fan shroud looks like 8'' cut off the bottom of an oil drum. i suspect the 55-57 is the same. found some pics of my 59 panel with factory v8 Last edited by _Ogre; 01-07-2012 at 04:42 PM. Reason: add pics |

Re: V8 radiator support ??
Here's a shot of a 57 cameo at the brothers show. The piece is used to set back the radiator on top, just not sure what is used on the lower mounts.
The second one is a chromed, on a Napco truck.

Re: V8 radiator support ??
Here is what the FAM shows for the top and bottom extensions. It would not be that hard to make them out of sheet stock, the ridges are to give them more stability and stop oil-canning.
