I was under 18?
Wow guys hard to believe its been that long. i was under 18 when i had my 66 and my 62. i miss it so much. sold my 66 to my to my best friend and he is now driving it (alot different than i planned but at least its on the road). he calls it low-mater after the cars movie (tow-mater). wish i had a pic. sorry guys. its cool looking, 250 six with 4-speed, lowered, all rust fixed but you would never guess it looking at it. replacement parts from 60 thru 66.. lol 6.0l is long gone. i want a new project so bad. i miss those days. now i have a family and its almost impossible for me to have anything like that. I miss you guys, i miss the trucks, i miss it all. maybe one day...

Keep your chin up, John. Life happens.
 I've been away for about a year and a half myself. Just remember, family first! There will be plenty of time for toys. Besides, you seem to be pretty crafty. Life is funny that way, as Tim said one will pop up in your grasp, I just decided when I bought mine to make a dailey driver back in `92/93 which was one of my better decisions...

Here's one for you John, I sat out for a while raising kids and working on everyone else's projects but my own. Saturday my boy started working on his 66 custom cab. Father son project..looking at his expression pulling it apart and starting a body off build says it all. There's one out there for you waiting!

Thanks for that guys. I know one day i will have another 60-66 beauty sitting in my driveway (or spread all over the driveway, lol) some time in the future.
