68 complete a/c system

I have a complete A/C system from a 68 CST. Would like to sell as a package. This includes everything from the control head to the condenser. Only thing not included is the dash vents.I haven't got it all out yet but i am working on it. Asking $400 for EVERYTHING.

Re: 68 complete a/c system

I might be interested; I am picking up an A/C cab in a couple of weeks. Everything works? Would this be able to mount to a 350 engine, and fit in a 71 C10 A/C cab?

Its on a 350 right now. Not sure if everything works, the engine was blown when i got the truck. I dont see any reason why it wouldnt git a 71 cab.

Re: 68 complete a/c system

I have to think about it - my wife would probably kill me if I spend $400 on an A/C system that might not work. I also need to wait until I pick up the cab, as I don't want to buy something and then for some reason the A/C cab does not work out. I am getting it at the end of the month. If you still have this system then, I will be in touch in early Feb.

Re: 68 complete a/c system

Would you mind posting a photo of the complete middle section of the dash? Air controls, ashtray and everything above it? I am not familiar with the A/C cabs and would like to see what is supposed to be in the spaces above the controls. Thanks!

Re: 68 complete a/c system

Thanks for posting the pic. I can't afford $400 plus shipping. If things change and you still have it, I'll let you know.

Yes I know, I picked it up from you a couple weeks ago. Quick question though, did you have the air recirculation valve that attaches to the pasenger kick panel and the other plastic mount for the recirc part that attaches to the firewall?
