One of my current projects. 1977 Rogers
Well after a week or 2 of poking around I figured its time to dive in and start being apart of the forums. With moving the parts business into a store front shop while keeping it running ive managed to get a little work done on my 77 Rogers flat deck race boat. It was a nice family boat when I got it and its anything but that now. I converted it to center steer with a custom rail kit and engine plates. in the process of a custom fuel cell and pedal assembly. For power it will get a healthy 468 BBC that should push it close to 90mph. Berkley pump with a reset intake. Hopefully it can get done and I can start tuning and playing with it this summer. The goal for the boat is a 500c.u. BBC and a 110mph but thats a few years away.

Just one seat? Looks and sounds like a cool project. Keep the pix coming and good luck with the biz move.

Now that's sexy! Can't wait to see it all fresh. I know it's made to live on the water, but dang that'll make for a classy combo behind a cool truck.

Thanks guys. It will get 2 small jump seats next to the drivers seat for 2 ladies to ride in. Plus have plenty of space for a cooler of be...........soda pop. As soon as its done I will be looking for a 64ish stepside or short bed fleetside.
Im sure Im like the rest of you. I have the next 10 projects already built in my head! |
