What is a Integrated Bump Stops / Slam Specialties Air Bags ???

Hello together,

what is a Integrated Bump Stops for Strength and Durability in my air bags from slam specialties ???

What does that mean ??

What it means is there is a bumpstop inside the airbag that limits the top and bottom plates of the bag from contacting eachother. It will limit the compression of the airbag so that is does not damage itself.

Thanks for quick response...

Does that mean that i dont need the original bump stop....for example i do have a camaro subframe in my pickup with the above mentioned air bags.
At the moment i havent installed the original bump stop of the camaro.
So when i drop the pickup on the ground, the air bag itself is the limited part, i mean the air bag itself is the bump stop....

What do u think about that , is that working for a long time....or do i definitly need a separate bump stop for my suspension...

I would guess to be safe, you should also run an external bumpstop. One that could handle the weight of the front end. I imagine the bumpstop inside the bag can only handle so much weight...
