Hey guys - got a buddy trying to put together his Granddad's old 69 CST, and it came with a 307 V8 and 3 speed manual trans. At some point the engine was removed and we recently replaced it with a #'s matching correct 69 307 out of another donor truck, but he needs a steel bracket that two small bolts go through on the drivers side of the block and it has a clutch z bar pivot ball welded to it - this is not on the replacement engine although the holes are there, so does anyone have a junk block anywhere with this thing on it?
Also need all the correct bolts to bolt the manual trans to the engine and the correct special flywheel to clutch bolts - anyone got those too? I am trying to help him with this truck because it means a lot to him, but neither of us know much about a 307 w/ manual 3 speed trans, so not sure what else maybe missing too....any help is greatly appreciated! |
