These ash trays were put in the factory air trucks. I had one in my 1966, years ago. The air conditioning ducts take up the area, where the original ashtray would go in a normally dash.

Gotcha. im more familiar with the 60-63 body style, but always learning about the 64-66. Thanks. Are they hard to find? Guess what I mean is if I see one out in the local yard is it worth pulling?

These were not exclusive to trucks however.
