Removing Front Parking Lights

I see a couple of guys have removed the front parking lights. I really like the look, but what are you guys doing for turn signals? Is there a headlight with an intregal turn signal available?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Re: Removing Front Parking Lights

are you referring to the fender mounted lights on your burb?
yes, you can convert your parking lights to turn/park.

if your referring to the park lite; i've seen guys hide turn signals in the egg crate grill.

Re: Removing Front Parking Lights

I thought I saw some of those headlights, just didn't know how well they showed up. Anyone used these and can give me some feed back?

I'm not using the fender mounted turn signal lights. I was talking about the lower parking lights. I thought about putting something in the grille, but wasn't sure it would be very visible.

Re: Removing Front Parking Lights

I bought some that have a clear LED turn signal in the bottom of the light. When the parking light or blinker is applied they light up yellow.

I think that I have some pics of them light up at home. Here is one of just the light. They are very bright with them being LED but when there off they don't stand out.

They were a little more expensive with the LED lights (some just have a cheap yellow bulb) but I am running LED tail lights so I wanted them to match.

Overall I'm happy with them.

Re: Removing Front Parking Lights

I found a pic with the parking lights on....
This should give you an idea of how bright they are.
