1950 Chevy Truck E-Brake

Need a little help I have a 1950 Chevy Truck that I am building and I want to keep the stock E-Brake assembly.
My question is what cables linkage etc etc do I need to make it work with my setup.
My setup is 69 Chevy rear-end

If you have the stock cross piece you can measure from your backing plate to that bracket. Control Cables in Santa Fe Springs can make you cables with clevis pins to hook up to that bar. Tell them what rear you have, and they will make the complete cable for you. Just make sure when you measure that you leave some room for adjustment in the part that goes from the e-brake pedal to that cross member. They will send you a form that will show how to measure for the cable. You will have to tell them what size hole is in that bracket so they can make those ends for you. There probably will be some adjustment in the clevis pin also. Talk to them and they will help you. They make all kinds of cables including gas pedal cables, as well as the carb linkage and the pedals. I got all my cables from them, and they are nice people to deal with.

Your truck is different but you can get the GM brake cable connectors and have the short cables made to connect you late model cables to stock your clevis.

You can get the sleeves to swag on the cable at some hardware stores that sell steel cable or There should be some sailboat rigging shops in the area that can make up short cables for you out of stainless cable and ends. You will have to figure out what you need and how long it needs to be though.

you might also be able to use the front part of the original cables and swag a ferrule on them to connect to the cables off the rear end with the C connectors like in Dwcsr showed. That would probably be the simple way out.

The folks you want to talk to is Control cables inc, They will match anything to anything just give them a call, he will walk you thru the process with the measurments. Just make sure the rear end is in the final resting place!!!
