Who has the oldest truck? (all 67 owners must read)
I was wondering about something...
I was reading in a Mustang magizine (don't hate me for being open minded) about what may well have been the very first mustang sold to the buplic. THe VIN sequention number is like 100003 or something like that, and it got me wondering... Do any of our board members have the first 67 made? How about it y'all...post the last 6 digits of your vin...at least lets see who has the oldest 67. If your truck still has the birthday sticker in the door that would be awsome too. *NOTE...I deleted the first posting of this due to a big dumb typo in the title that I was unable to fix...da-burb responded and I am NOT trying to exclude him from participating* |

107020 and 113077. I once bought two Yamahas at a garage sale that had consecutive serial numbers...how cool was that! Those Mustang clubs are really active here. They are very serious about their club activities and meetings...hold them monthly. Lots of help and support for the members. They do fund raisers, club drags at the local track and all sorts of things. Sounds like fun other than having to own a Ford...oops...guess I already do...I use it to straighten Chevy tailgates...LOL!

The plant needs to be accounted for too. Each plant started sequentially numbering for 100,000. I have 2 67's:
One made in Baltimore #45149 One made in Freemont, Ca #49387 I once had a 68 that was the 400th unit made in Tarrytown, NY. Unfortunately it's no longer with us

Looks like I'm in the running so far...
just checked: 101476
What's odd is that I have raised bolt holes for the p/s pump, of course that doesn't include the dip inbetween.
