Exclamation Whooaa Truck!!!!

I put a power booster on my 70 GMC with drums all around. I get about four inches of pedal and then no more. It stops good until I run out of pedal. I've replaced all wheel cylinders and shoes. It doesn't feel like air, the pedal gets rock hard at four inches.

I plan on bleeding them again, but was hoping for some suggestions!

Did you check the adjustment of the actuator rod between the booster and the MC? I know the adjustment is critical.

I didn't adjust between booster and m/c, I'll try that next.

Gotta luv the smell of tire smoke....if only when your slamming on brakes! At least I can stop now. Roadworthy (using that loosely!) again! Thanx stllookn for the tip. Now I gotta adjust my brake pedal back down, but at least I can stop now without getting a leg workout!
