70 Exhaust Manifold for 350
I have a question regarding exhaust manifolds. I have a very original 1971 Chevy C-10 truck, short bed, 350 5.7 lit. 4 bbl. According to date codes, the engine was built in early Spring of 1970. The right manifold number/marking is: 3905364 RH-11 GM...the left is: 3989055 LH-21GM.
Anyway, it appears that the RH manifold was once A.I.R. equipped as it's obvious that that someone removed the device (as was common for more horsepower). I would like to replace my original RH manifold with a vintage non-A.I.R. manifold corresponding to the specs of the engine. Does anyone by chance know the number of this part? Also, would you happen to know of a person who specializes in vintage exhaust manifolds for Chevy's of that era? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! |

Welcome from New Mexico! You can pick these up used if you search the parts boards, craigs-list. etc. You also can get some new ones also. Not sure if you have (or are using) the heat sheilds to protect the plug wire boots (you can also get these new if you need them). Here's some links for you. http://www.castheads.com/log_systems.php#manifolds ^This one has the original 45* angle back. I like this site because they offer the adaptors if you want to go with 2.5 in exhaust. (I ultimately used Pypes SS down pipes instead) http://www.manestruckparts.com/store...TOKEN=44483269 ^They have New & Used, plust the straight down models for the 4x4 models- don't think they are corvette 2.5's though. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Tru-Ra...olds,5425.html ^ Stainless steel rams here + 2.5 collectors! http://www.castheads.com/corvette_systems.php ^Link to Corvette 2.5 rams This should get you going.... Vaya con Dios. s/t
