This Saturday morning........
This Saturday morning if all goes as smooth the burb will hold a very important passanger! After much debate I got the go ahead! I will be taking my firstgrandchild on his very first car ride. It will be an 80 mile trip from st. Joes in orange county to hemet. Im sure it will be the first of many adventures we will take as he was part of the motivation in buying a bigger weekend driving car for the whole family to be able to ride in together. ill get you guys some pics!

Re: This Saturday morning........
Awesome! Ditto on the camera. Has the burb got seat belts? And do you have an infant seat? Nowadays, I think hospitals are required to have a nurse follow you out to the car to make sure you have an approved setup. Mom can't hold the kid anymore like ours did.

Re: This Saturday morning........
Congrats on the grandchild and the first car ride....AND in a classic suburban! As others have said, bring the camera and take lots of pictures....then, share some with us.... It really is a neat, special way to create memories.

Re: This Saturday morning........
You know you could also hang on of them "mobiles" from the ceiling, the motion of the truck would keep it moving!

Re: This Saturday morning........
Yes the suburban is ready to roll! I have to wait till about 11 to pick them up today. Although its not the same rig the other day I herd a boy tell his mom "it looks kinda like grave digger" when they walked by the burb at the grocery store. So, yeah! He'll probably love the monster trucks.

Re: This Saturday morning........
Thanks everyone for the kind words. It was a great drive. Perfect weather here in socal. about 75 or so. Seems like the he's a total natural. The sound of the 3 chamber flowmasters, road noise through the bare metal floors put baby Ryder right to sleep.
