250 six to a 496 gen IV BB???

Going to do a swap and was wondering what issues if any we'll run into.

Have a big block, and TH-350
bought the crossmember, engine stands and trans linkage

need radiator
auto steering column

can you guys add to this list or let us know what to expect? truck is 71 swb, suspension already gone through.

Re: 250 six to a 496 gen IV BB???

You may need to adjust length on the wiring harness,and remove the fusable link if going to HEI.You'll need brackets for the accesories for the BB since they'll be different.

I think we've got this covered too. We changed the six cyl to HEI last year and the BB has a pretty cool March sepentine pulleys and brackets.

WOW if that truck could speak it would scream, that truck is not going to know what to do with all that power. you sure will find any loose parts when you fire it up.
