700 R4 Trans problem
My transmission in my 87' burb won't lock up in third or fourth. Fluid is good. Its rebuilt and knew it was good before I put it in. Its slighty used. I'm thinkin its the lock up selinoid on the trans. Does it have one or two wires? May just go aftermarket switch. Im ready to drive it@@@

I would start with looking a the switch on the brake pedal and see if the wiring is correct there and the voltage is correct. Then i would look and see if the vacuum swith is hooked up (if it has one ) and make sure it is all correct including voltage. At that point, i would check the wiring at were it goes into the plug at the transmission.
That is stuff you can check for free before having to pull the pan.
