Hello from Western NY

Hello, all!
I have a 1972 Chevy K-10 4X4 in partially restored condition (purchased it that way)
Here is her info:
VIN CKE142F152XXX
Model: KE10934
Options:
1B8530 Belt Molding
1HO510 Rear Axle 3.73
1M2020 4 Speed
1R65AC 6.50-16.0-6PR High
1R65AM 6.50-16.0-6PR High
1Z5210 Full Foam Seat
148410 WHT/MED GREEN/WHT/M
1BX230 Body Side Molding
1F7610 Front Wheel Locking Hubs
1LS910 350 CID engine
1N4020 Power steering
1R65AG 6.50-16.0-6PR High
1VO110 HD Radiator
1Z5320 Gages-ammeter, oil,
161210 Green Vinyl Trim

Utah truck. Box from South Dakota, step bumper with farm pin thing, pass side rocker, cab post, floor were done. Driver side has cab post done, needs rocker and floor pan done. Chassis is 85% done, new brakes, shocks, lines, rims painted, frame painted. Previous owner planned on installing A/C, and cut holes in lower dash and purchased a unit, but I don't think I will install it.

Wrong engine (1981 Chevy 350). I am looking for advice on blocks...2 bolt vs 4 bolt.....
3970010 or 3970014? 4bbl or 2 bbl? Where do I find the assembly date of the truck?
LOVE THIS SITE, Thanks!

Re: Hello from Western NY

Welcome frome Maryland!! Its my belief that either of the engine blocks will do fine unless you plan to race the truck. (alot of 6000 RPMs, or higher I would go with a 4 bolt)
