wiper upgrade questions with aftermarket switch?
hey guys am upgrading my gmc to a 2 speed wiper motor setup. 1964 gmc 3/4 ton. got a 72 wiper motor with 4 terminals. I am having a question about how to wire it up with the 2 speed switch I bought at oreillys? here is a pic of the two units
Questoins is the power to the motor and the switch becomes ground when activated?? or does it work as motor gounding and power from the switch?? Thanks Sean

Re: wiper upgrade questions with aftermarket switch?
Im not sure if this helps. On my 61, it has a one speed motor. The one wire to the motor is always hot. The switch supplies the ground to make it work.

Re: wiper upgrade questions with aftermarket switch?
I think that is what I am seeing on the 67-72 wiring diagrams also. will go ahead and make the switch the ground and see what happens next. and just bypass the power on the switch itself and see if the motors starts working with power to the system.
thanks Sean Wolff
