Pictures need of Shoulder belts

Pictures needed of shoulder belts and measurements. I'm gonna try a make a set for a driver.

What I would like is the lenght measurments of each piece end to end.

A picture of both sides of the plastic boot and their measurements. Want pic of the inside and the outside of the boot. Do the originals all have a depression to assist in holding the metal connector in place when not wearing them?

A picture of the anchor bracket that mounts to the cab...a pic of the shoudler belt upper bolt.

And any other pic you can think of that makes the shoulder belts unique.

Are they tagged any different than a regular belt?

Thanks, Rod

GOOD LUCK!
I tried to get info on sholder belts here a few months back and it was like pulling teath. I think someone eventually posted a few shots.
I don't know if more than a few hundred trucks ever had them, or everyone threw them away.
If you do build them please post a pic for all to see. Thank you.

This is the only pic of original shoulder belts I have seen, they are in joesjunks 71 4x4, he would probably be the one to ask for any other pics or measurments.

Roberty can I get close pics of the boots themselves... I trying to see how the metal bracket is attached in the boot. And a pic of the front side of the boot also. Thanks people for you have posted so far.
Ooops
As I was writing you were still posting.

How about some measurements of the lenghts.

I'll take a pic with my camcorder of something I found and post it.

Do your have a dimple on the viewable side to hold the belt buckle in.
Thanks

Rod, My upper "Boot" appears to be slightly different than the one shown above that belongs to Joesjunk.
Here are my measurements. The short upper belt is 17" long on mine and the lower section is 45" and adjustable. Joesjunks' upper belt appears to be longer than mine.
Robert

I believe what you have there are lap belts for a Blazer or Suburban not shoulder belts. The end boots are cosmetic only to cover the ends because they are seen on buckets and they do not have the retainer for the male end, also the the belt webbing is to short on the male end. The male end with the nicer boot mounts on the outside of the seat and the female end belt would go on the side next to the console. If you check the instructions you will see what i mean. Sorry.

I believe you are right Richard. I bought these a few years back from Jerry Brown at The Truck Shop in Crossville, Tennessee. I do believe now that these are not what I believed them to be all this time. Me and Jerry might be having a discussion about this soon.

The last picture you have posted Rod looks like my setup.

It's things like this that sure make me proud to be a member here on this forum!! The information here is sure priceless.
Take care,
Robert
