Need Cb radio help in a 78 k10 4 speed manual
im working on putting a cb radio in the k10.. im running into some mounting problems the space is realy limited with the 4 speed manual. the cb is too big to fit on the dash.. i was wondering if anyone had some input.. any help would be sweet!

My friend has his mounted on his headliner right above his rearview mirror.

So it wont fit on the lip under the dash? That's where I've seen a lot of them mounted

I had mine mounted to the roof above the rearview mirror. It looked cool, and then had dual 4' firestick antennas on the headache rack.

Not having a manual or a 4wd square body I am not familiar with the "throw" of the shifters, but would it be possible to mount it vertically right at the edge of the front seat. Could make a vertical mount using wood or metal.

I agree mount it vertically right at the edge of the front seat if you can. It shouldn't be that awful big is it?
