according to the decoder, it says the truck is 4x2, V8 gas, half ton pickup with bed, 1972, assembled in Flint plant, and #249799(?) not sure about that last #. check the vin on the sill plate and glovebox door, if applicable, against the title. maybe it was a body swap.
