'83 K10 GTS Smoked Headlight Covers
I purchased a pair of these GTO HLC for my Shorty and finally got to them put on. I had a 'c10 '77 yellow shortbox stepside in back in high school (waaaay back in 1989) and I had HLC's on that one and loved the look. So I ordered these one. Thought I'd share it with ya. Later....Ray
BTW-I am falling in love with fixing up my K10. About 2k of preventative maintenance, tuning up and dressing up the motor along with other parts and labor stuck into this already!! Only had this truck about a month! I got alot more ideas....including smooting out the body and two tone paint (white/ yellow) coming soon. Last edited by HeavyC; 03-08-2012 at 11:13 PM. Re: '83 K10 GTS Smoked Headlight Covers
He's a few more pics....
Newer 350. It's a prime starter with Edelbrock intake and 4 Barrell Edelbrock carb. Rebuilt 700R4 with mild shift kit. Just added all new 2.5 inch dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers and 4" stainless steel tips. Nice and loud! It's got the factory ralley's wrapped in 31x10.5 BFG All Terrian KO's. Slight lift and locking 3.08 gears. It was intented to be just be my hunting rig, but I'm looking to customize it cause I'm hooked on wrenching it. It's fun to drive....Alittle thirsty but it's worth the looks I get with it. On the horizon....Chrome Push bar with Off road lights, Tinted windows, bedliner, tonneau cover, smoked vent shades, smoked bug shield, single step up bars/grab bars are in the works, so I'm looking for any of those parts! |
