Let's see some construction trucks
Just what the titile says lol u know the C/10 through 60s with aftermarket bodies or not

Think I can play along on this one.The Lite Blue one was my PaPa's 69 GMC.He was a house painterin the late 50's until the early1980's,he passed away unexpedtedly in 1985.
the black one behind it is my dadsold truck.It was a 71 GMC. Look close at the camper shell.He put that on 3 days after he bought the truck new.stayed on until around1988.kept coming off so much we left it off finally. I'll try to find some more pics when I go to mom and dads house in a few days. |

Heres a 1966 chevrolet series 70 digger derrick with a gmc 401 big block v6 that my rents used 4 years untill it was scrapped last year originally ordered and used by Nebraska Public Power District we gave it the nickname Oscar like the sesame street character we'd take it in for routine service and go to start it the next day and it wouldn't start it had a mind of its own

50bomb,it was mine. I sold it to a friend. It is a beast! I wanted to keep it and sell my white GMC but everyone wanted that blue & white truck. Well,I don't hate the white truck,so I kept that and pan to get it how I had the blue and white one (soon I hope). Neither were intended to be work trucks,but those racks found their way onto about every truck I've had since they came off the '84 I originally built them for. I have that stick-on foam on then and just use big c-clamps for ez-on/ez-off. Truck #2:  Truck #1:

My work truck when I was contracting was a f*rd. I won't pollute the thread by posting a picture of it.
 I remember when I was a kid and my dad was a plumber. He always had pipe racks on the side of his trucks-these were all Chevy's-and when he had pipe in the rack it ran all the way from the front to the back. One time, a bunch of us neighborhood kids were all chasing around and one kid cut the corner too sharp and ran face first into a whole rack of various sized copper pipe. His face was covered with little circle cuts. After that, dad felt so bad he built a rack like what you see now days, over the top of the bed and cab. Always wondered whatever happened to that family. That kid's sister was my fir...ah, never mind.

Oh yeah, I forgot about these-they belong to my friend, a few of his of his Mad-Max machines, a log handler and gin-pole truck.
     He uses them gin-poles like a third hand. Nothing they can't do! I won't show you his saw mill, you all would have nightmares!

It's an early Toyota Stout hood
. Heck,I'm not sure who made it. But,Hooker also sold those and I believe another company I can't recall now. The "other" company is probably who made them for Hickey and Hooker.

Here's some more I found of a bin job my dad did back in 98 99? using the blue and white propane powered 79 Custom Deluxe 20 the 88 Cheyenne 3500 a 70's 30 ton crane the 66 Chevrolet series 70 bucket truck and my dad's personal ride back then an 80 Silverado 20 4x4
