Lowering Question
Ok, I'm ready to start the suspension crap on my truck. I have a couple of questions. My truck currently has a 3/1.5 drop on heated coil springs. I am kicking around the idea of a 2/3 drop via coil springs. Will I have to relocate the shocks in the rear on a 3" drop? Who has the best kit for this? I've seen a few different kits at different prices... I only want to do this once...I don't want to go much lower than 2" up front because I cringe all the time now... I have long tube headers and they hang kinda low.
Thanks for any advice |

I have the Early Classic 2/4 kit, and as far as easy goes, it is easy; you need to grind some rivets off, but other than that, it is bolt on. It comes with the springs, shocks, hardware and new pan hard bar. I cannot help yu with the clearance issue, because I do not have mine back together yet. I have the kit installed, and the headers on, but no exhaust nor front clip yet. Hopefully it does not drop much more.

I second the ECE stuff great service too. I believe if you stay 4" or less then you dont need to relocate the shocks but ECE can tell you and offer suggs.

Thanks...
That was the kit I was leaning towards. Just wanted some second opinions. i guess a 2/4 won't be so bad...shouldn't bring the headers any lower...actually should lift them an inch...
