83 dd gmc
Well here we go. This is my daily, the only reason i was able to do recent work to it was that we have an extra car at the moment which will be sold soon so this is truly my dd, every project or upgrade from here on out will have to be purely on the weekend or shortly after work. It is an 83 gmc,99k original miles. PO put in mild 350, lowered at some point with a flip kit and just springs in front, the ride was horrible, hitting bumpstop brackets every tiny bump and come to find out my front shocks were blew! lol imagine that. So here we go, rebuild the entire front end with the exception of the ball joints and tierod ends. Didn't get any pics of condition of the suspension before, but i will soon as i haven't installed the sway bar i bought yet.

Re: 83 dd gmc
Ignore the kybs', i sent them back and have the toxic shocks front and rear to be installed yet. All new bushings, brake lines, rotors(overlook the rust they are new lol) djm 3 inch spindles, and on and on. As it sits now it is about 2 inch higher that it was, will let the springs settle and cut as needed.

Re: 83 dd gmc
Thanks guys. It is a stock one peice window, not to be confused with the flush mount one peice that is available now, but the install was really easy, 3/16" rope and silicone spray is the trick, put new seal on the window then put the rope all the way around the inner lip that seals to the cab, have a buddy or girlfriend in my case lol press the window up against the opening and slowly pull the rope out from the inside, just make sure to press the seal down as you go, removal of old and new installed in about 30 min easy!

Re: 83 dd gmc
awesome, thanks for the tip. I picked up a flawless rear window for $20 and am excited to get rid of the rear slider. Also picked up a new door for $40 with good glass in it as well. Thanks again
