1962 chevy short bed 4x4
I just picked up a 1962 short bed 4x4 the other day it needs alot of work. It has 3/4 ton axles under it with 4 inch suspension lift 3 inch body. Its got a 454 th350 np208. The trucks needs to be put all back together. My plans are pull the dana 44 out throw a dana 60 under it take the old motor tranny and tcase out and replace it with a 5.3 or a 6.0 and a th400 and np205. I need to wire the whole truck up do a little body work and hook almost everything up.

Lookin good! A little side note, if you hit "Enter" after each pic in a post it won't scroll them off the page to the right. They'll just stack down the page.
Allofcraigslist is good for parts. Here's one for your 6.0 http://www.allofcraigs.com/p/results.html?q=lq9%206.0 Also there's a buy/sell section to the forum here where you might find what you're looking for from another member. Oh, and welcome to the board! |

I love these old '60s 4X4s and yours is an excellent start. Are you planning on keeping with the dark blue?

Looks good, I'll be watching this one, sounds like you have the right idea with the LQ, 400, 205, and tons under it.
