resize pics?

How do I resize my pics.Everyone I try to use for my avatar are too big.Also had same problem when trying to post on parts board.Thanks.

Had the same problem, my kids and looking through the board's archives helped me. Send your pictures to My Documents and save as . . . then go to "Paint" and decrease size by 25%., resave again. Worked for me. Good Luck

I tried it that way but no luck.I had to go to attributes but still couldn't get it to work.I'll figure it out sooner or later.

There is a free download program named Irfanview that is both free and easy to use. Try using search for it, I think Mudder was the one that posted it. I will see if I have the link.

Yes what barn said. Thats a really good program to download and its free. You can actually do a lot with pictures using this program.

I uploaded mine to Webshots,

Once there, they become the right size for the avatar.

After uploading, simply right click on the picture you desire and same.

Come back to the board and post.

Hope this helps, need more help give a shout.

I downloaded that program but now it's telling me it's not a valid gif or jpg file.What do I do know?
