shock mount adapters for rear axle? in 1 ton pickup

i recently bought an 83 1ton crew cab 4x4. Previous owner is keeping the dana 60 and 70 axle so i went to put a 14bolt in that i had and know found the shock mounts on the axle are now backwards. I guess that the rearend came out of a 3/4 that the shocks mounted on the outside of the frame and now they mount on the inside of the 1ton frame would it be hard to relocate mounts by welding or does someone make a kit to move them
thanks eric everingham

Cut and re-weld the mounts....no kits.
