Another suburban gets altitude adjustment
My buddy Matt bought one of my previous 63 burbs.
He had already spent 3yrs building a pretty stellar squarebody, and drove and enjoyed it for a couple yrs. Then comes a girl, then marriage, then a baby..... The squarebody is family and wont ever be sold. But he needed a family ride. I told him where my old 63 was and he went after it and made deal. They drove it alot last year and he collected parts. This winter it was to get a update. He got 72 C10 upper and lwr CA's, and 2.5" drop spindles, all the airride stuff and it started 2 weekends ago. We helped get front all stripped and new put on, then did rear today. He had already had both compressors and tank etc mounted weeks ago. So a new bagged family truckster is born. Heres a few of his square and of the family ride.

Re: Another suburban gets altitude adjustment
It took me a minute to wrap my head around how that notch worked. I really like that. The burb is looking sick too.

He has a side business called Streetsteel.net that he builds all kinds of plasma cut suspension stuff and one-off stuff. He built his, and mine, panhard and lowering blocks with panhard mount incorporated. Between his twin viair compressors and his engine driven, plus airtank and part of frame that is also airtank, his truck puts out more air than my 60 gal upright in garage...

Re: Another suburban gets altitude adjustment
Yes sir!
Not great pics but a pic. Thanks to SCOTI for the idea. We made the passenger side block 2" longer and capped back as part of the panhard bar tab. Welded on 4 sides. I got a $22 bar from Tractor Supply with heim joints. He cut in half and welded black pipe in middle. 22 for bar. 29 for new ubolts. Scrap metal around shop. free= 51 bucks in 2" blocks, new ubolts and adjustable panhard.....! I'll take better pics of mine too. And add to my build thread in build section.

Re: Another suburban gets altitude adjustment
Oh, it goes from pass block to stock panhard bracket on drivers frame. Fit like a charm and no clearance issues with rearend.

Re: Another suburban gets altitude adjustment
That's friggin' cool! I can't wait to see it in person. Do you know if he's taking it to any shows this year? It would be cool to get some pics of all of our trucks together.
