I am getting ready to put a floor shifter in my 1965 c10 but I don't know how tall I want it.

Does anybody have any pictures of theirs? I am thinking 23-30" range.

If buying an aftermarket, I recommend the 16"-ish ones. You can see the pics and the part numebrs of mine if it is what you're looking for. 16-16.5" is about the tallest I've seen without going to the Count Dragula rat rod sticks that scrape the roof. Anyway, this thread has more than you're looking for - but it does have the stick info and pictures for reference/comparison to help you decide. EDIT: Oops - just noticed it sounds like you want a tall!!! one, anyway - maybe the pics here will give you an idea how much taller to look for.

Old pic...23 inch Gennie shifter...interior finished with bench seat and it looks nicer. will need to post pics later..

Here’s what mine looked like many years ago when it had a TH350. Both shifters came through the original SM420 hole in the floor pan after about ¼” of trimming:

The first 3 are a 23” Lokar with a high hump floor:

This is after I swapped in a 16” Gennie Shifter:

gimmy I been looking for a steering wheel like yours...I always liked the old skool grant looking steering wheels....who makes it and where did you find yours? Did you have to install a steering wheel adapter for that steering column you have? this is from mooneyes they come in like 5 differant colors and are cheep around 70bucks. yes you need an adapter fot this wheel. moon sells them too about 20 bucks
