Smile 72 K20 sub eaton rear axle infohttp://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/images/icons/icon7.

My 72 K20 had a frame and drivetrain swap by a previous owner. They swapped the original K20 running gear and frame with a 76 k20 suburban frame and running gear. I can only assume it was because they damaged the frame or they just wanted disc brakes and a stronger frame. The sub is originally from AZ then it went to Cali and then to Ohio it has a 6 in lift with 35 in tires on it. Anyway I would like to know if they make a locker for the Eaton rear axle and also if anybody know where you can get seals for the front pinion on the axle. I just had a rear axle seal go bad and it appears that the previous owner had already replaced it recently. I have had the truck since January and haven't had it on the road much so I don't know how long ago the repair was made but it didn't work. While I was a Napa getting parts to do both sides and to replace both sides brake cylinders I tried to get a seal for the pinion and it came up unavailable. So before I go and install all of these new parts should I stop and find different rear axle with a limited or posi in it? Or will I be able to get the parts I need to repair and maintain? PS I like the old school solid one piece rear axle its just cool.Let me know what you all think thanks.

Yes, the Eaton H052's did come with a no spin. Though they are very scarce.

Rock Auto has been good at carrying parts I need, and I did a quick look up for axle seals for you. It appears that they do carry the pinion seal.
