Jegs or summit fuel cell in 67-72?
I'm just about ready to order the fuel system parts for my LMG and T56 swap into my 68 c10 and was wondering if anyone has used the off the shelf aluminum fuel cells from Jegs or Summit. The dimensions seem about right and can come with the 0-90 ohm level sender. I have a hard time justifying the $$ for one of the application specific tanks when I can get a similar one for half price or less. Thanks!!

Link? I know a few here have used the poly Summit cell, but I'm not familiar with the aluminum units...

I have the 20 Gal. aluminum with sender Jegs model. No issues, seems like a well made unit and I recommend not getting the plain version [polished] for anything that sits outside.

Re: Jegs or summit fuel cell in 67-72?
I have the 20 gal in mine, mine is a long bed and it fits great. Not sure about a shorty, I had some aluminium angle welded down the sides of mine and used 1.5" tubing underneath that to space it up. Had to trim the rear floor brace to get it moved up some more. If i would take the return lines out of the top I could move it up even further.
