1980 complete grill assembly parts
I got this complete setup off of a truck and was going to convert my 78 to square headlights, but sold the truck before I could do it. As you can see I have multiples of some parts. Shipping will be expensive on some of the larger parts so please include your zip code if you would like me to get a quote. Please reply in this thread, sometimes juggling the thread replies and PMs gets confusing.
Set of square headlight bezels, some very small pitting starting on the drivers side $75 Set of blinker housings/lenses. Wires were chewed by mice while in storage and are short, but could probably be used if you tried. $45 Lower grill panel (blue) with lower chrome molding attached. Molding is in good shape minus one small ding, just needs to be shined up a little. $90 Lower chrome molding by itself, similar to the other one. Has a small ding but otherwise its in great shape. $45 Set of square headlights with buckets $35 Inner Grills, both need bowties. The upper one in the pictures is a little dirty but will clean up nice. However it does have a couple of small pieces cracked and missing (see pics) $45 The bottom grill in the pics is very nice and doesn't seem to have any sections missing. $75 Upper mount with hood latch, release cable, and support brackets $65 I would sell a complete set (everything minus the extra lower chrome and one of the inner grilles) for $325 + shipping. If you would like more pics of something just ask.

Re: 1980 complete grill assembly parts
Just remembered I also had this red lower grill panel, the lower chrome molding by itself came from this panel. The panel by itself $40 or pair it back with the lower chrome piece, $80 for the set.

Re: 1980 complete grill assembly parts
They are both chromed, the one is just a little tarnished. It cleans up easily though. I will try to clean them both up and take another pic but it will probably be tomorrow before I can get to it.

Re: 1980 complete grill assembly parts
Sorry I have been real busy lately. I finally had a chance to clean up the dirtier of the two grilles (the top one in all the pictures above). I didn't have time to get a toothbrush after it but I did wipe the front surface down and you can see the shiny chrome underneath. Like I said these pics are of the "uglier" of the two. I would say it is a 6 out of 10 and would be great for a driver, wouldn't put it on a show truck. The nicer one is probably a 9 out of 10 and would look real nice on a spotless truck. Hopefully I can clean it up tomorrow.

Re: 1980 complete grill assembly parts
Just realized I didn't fully answer your question. The chrome on the nicer grill appears to be in great shape. The other one in the latest pics has a bubble forming and a chip starting on the top edge (both issues can be seen in this pic) but otherwise is pretty good.

Re: 1980 complete grill assembly parts
I wiped down the nicer grill some. Once agian, I didn't get every square inch but you get the idea. It was really hard to get decent pics of this thing because of the reflection. I did see a place or 2 where the chrome was just starting to warp a little bit, had to really look to find it though. I still maintain that it is in extremely good shape especially considering it is a 32 year old original. Other than a NOS grill I can't imagine finding a nicer one. Looks like shipping will be $48.

Re: 1980 complete grill assembly parts
It's going to right at the limits of what USPS will handle due to the length but I think it can be done and still be packaged safely. It's $48 in shipping for a total of $123.00 U.S.

Re: 1980 complete grill assembly parts
I thought these parts were pretty desirable. Heck I looked for months to find components in this nice of condition. Am I in the minority and nobody else likes it? Are my prices too high? I really thought this stuff would sell sooner. ttt

Re: 1980 complete grill assembly parts
I do, but a guy is coming to look at them tomorrow afternoon and I told him I would hold them for that long. What parts in particular are you looking for? I have doubles of some stuff. By the way my PM inbox was full but I just cleaned it out.
