bear claw latches

Has anyone ever put bear claw latches on one of our trucks? If so, I would like some information and pictures please. I did the search and it only turned up one result. Also, I would like to know if they have any adjustment in them, or if you have to get them lined up perfect the first time. Thanks for any help.

I used one for the truck lid on a 40 chevy I built, I know they are very well made but dont remember much else about them, I should have one left over in the shop somewhere.

Here is a bear claw type lacth in mine. I didn't do the install so I can't answer any questions. The truck is still in progress so I don't know yet how well they are going to work. Supposedly they work really well. Mine are mounted a little different also as the latch is in the jam and the striker is in the door. My truck has shave doors which is one of the reasons for this change.

Where would one get these "bearclaws"? lol. Um, if I'm not mistaken, www.ifcustom.com go to like project archives or something. I do believe Travis' '70 Chevy has bearclaws or something similar. Thanks.
