Found a 70 C-30 what's it worth?
I found a 70 C-30 single rear wheel truck with a utility box on it. Utility box is shot, cab has rocker and floor rust.
307 was replaced by a local Chevy dealer in the 80's with a Goodwrench 350 (a blue one) and all the original 307 parts were transferred to it so it is not a botch job. This truck has the eaton HO52 or 72 with leafs and is a 4-spd. Paint is crap and the truck is a plain light optioned work cab. Worth much? Thanks for your input and sorry no pics! Tim |

Re: Found a 70 C-30 what's it worth?
Did the truck originally have a 307? I'm thinking C/30s weren't offered with those. I could be confused,though. I'm thinking that sounds like a $500 truck to me. And,it would have an HO72 since it's a C/30.

That is what I figured too Tim. Retail price around $500.00.
Thanks for your thoughts! Tim |

Re: Found a 70 C-30 what's it worth?
I looked and it was a CE340S (I think) and it did not show a engine option on the spid so no doubt came with the 307.
Yes, I think you are right that it would be a H072. Reminded me of looking under an old 48 chevy 1 ton truck. Thanks for the input. |
