Re: Spent a little money today but not on suburban parts.
Was planning on buying one Fri about 5 hrs from me. Looked on CL last night again and this one had just been listed in town. Met the guy today over at Summit Racing and $2000 later it was in my drive way.

Re: Spent a little money today but not on suburban parts.
You will find "TKE" on GMC Jimmy's with a V8 "TKS" on 6cyl Jimmy's. "T" is a GMC designation. K=4x4
So if you had a 2wd Jimmy with a V8 it would be "CE" Last edited by Big Block; 04-13-2012 at 09:37 PM. |

C- Chassis type = C-Conventional or K-4 Wheel Drive
E- Engine = E-V8 or S-6cyl Chevy Blazer 4x4 with a V8 would be "CKE" Chevy Blazer 2wd with a V8 would be "CE" C is a Chevy designation. Last edited by Big Block; 04-13-2012 at 09:35 PM. |

A little polishing compound and wax and it looks a little better.

Got some new shoes today. It's amazing how many vibrations and rattles went away after I installed these.

Re: Spent a little money today but not on suburban parts.
The bezel is plastic to look like carbon fiber and got it off ebay for $130. The gauges are all from Summit and I bought one a payday for the last few months. That's the advantage of having a summit racing store in town
